Do students need an account?

No. Students can access a board using the secure sharing link provided by their tutor.

Why can my student only view the board?

The tutor controls whether the shared board is view-only or editable. Change the sharing mode from the CanvasForTutors menu.

Does CanvasForTutors save automatically?

Yes. CanvasForTutors automatically saves supported board changes to the cloud while you work.

Can I use CanvasForTutors on a phone or tablet?

Yes. CanvasForTutors has mobile and tablet layouts for tutors and students, although some advanced teaching workflows are easier on a larger screen.

Can schools use CanvasForTutors?

Yes. School and team plans are intended for departments, tutoring companies and education organisations.
